[Fixed in #1595] B1586 - Airplay2 Issues with Denon AVR

Hi,

I cannot play content to my Denon AVR X1700H over Airplay2 using B1586. The track says it is playing within Roon but the track position/time does not progress and no sound is output.

If the amp is asleep then it is also not awoken by the Airplay2 stream as it used to be.

I’m experiencing the same problem with my Denon AVR that I noticed this weekend.

Hi Rob, the amp isn’t visible within the Apple Home app but I can successfully airplay to it from my phone.

@Chris_Ellison, if it’s not visible, have you tried to find/add it under Add Accessory in the Home app’s “+” menu?

I’ve added the amp to Apple Home but this has not effected Roon’s inability to play out of it.

Hi, all! In the latest EA build #1595 we made a change which can help to resolve this issue. Could you update to the latest RoonServer build and let me know how it goes?
