So, out of the blue the chrome cast option to stream from Roon to the Focal Mu-So Hekla went awol. I only see Airplay as a streaming option.

On both the Tidal and Qobuz apps I can see the chrome cast option to the hekla, so it is a Roon issue. The Hekla is hardwired to my network as well as the server.

Yeah, after a third reboot it showed. But now i press play and nothing happens, both tidal or Qobuz.

Can you try clearing your endpoint cache? You can do so using the following steps:

  • Create a fresh backup
  • Stop Roon (or RoonServer)
  • Find and open your Roon or RoonServer folder
  • Navigate to /Roon/Database/Registry/Core/
  • Delete all the endpoint_ files in this directory.
  • Restart Roon
  • Please let us know if this helps

Note: Deleting these files will

  • Delete your audio device information

If this doesn’t help, please restore the backup you made before trying these steps.

Hi, just reseted the hekla and all is good now. Seems something went bad on its end.
