So I focused on a couple of albums using several filters. This gives me 8 albums I want to put into a playlist. I can make a bookmark, but how to easily make a playlist from this selection?

Do a long click on one album, you will see a banner appear at the top of the screen, change the select option from 1 album to all albums, then select the 3dots and add to playlist, you can chose an existing or new one.
