Description of Issue

Unfortunately, the thread on the topic of “Playback stops due to slow download from SSD on Nucleus Titan” was closed even though it has not been resolved, possibly because Roon mistook my positive response to a user on an unrelated topic as a sign that the issue was resolved. But it was not: On Titan, DSD512 playback with conversion to DSD128 for a Vivaldi DAC requires too much processing power and times out. I can now confirm that this is also the case for playing to another DAC, the dCS Varese (which can play DSD512), when I use Muse for the DSD512 to DSD128 conversion.

I remain most interested in finding out from Roon if there is something wrong with my Titan or its configuration in particular; or is the DSD512 to DSD128 a generic concern that may be resolved in a future software improvement.
