I am now trying a SonicOrbiter to feed a secondary Marantz M-CR611 small system. I’d like Roon to convert the DSD files to PCM 24/88 files, as I am using the optical connection on this small amp—unless someone knows another way to feed the DSD signal straight to the M-CR611 through Roon (it can decode it natively). So I need to “force” the conversion as Roon is correctly down sampling larger PCM files (to the max of 96 that works with the optical connection), but not the DSD files: for a reason or another, it pushes a 176.4. PCM file instead of a 88.2 Any ideas? The settings screen of the SonicOrbiter does not let me do that.
