You can use a usb to Ethernet on the mba. Apple have a 14 day no questions asked return policy as long as it’s Apple online store or Apple retail shop. Even for accessories and even non Apple ones as long as it’s from the store. Macmini or other macs all have this return policy.

So, after my trial period and having read up on the various hardware options etc I was extremely lucky enough to secure an NDX2 just before Christmas (and have just sold my NDX to ease the financial pain). Couldn’t be happier, Roon working just as it should, hard wired where appropriate and just Airplay to the Mu-So in the kitchen. NDX2 is a big step up from NDX and has all the Roon convenience I wanted, not the cheapest solution by far but effective and now I can just enjoy the music the way I want to.
