I’m planning to install a Roon Trial in the next day or two. I setup a Pi running RoPieee tonight with a Dragonfly Black DAC.
The Roon web site will let me sign up for a 14 day trial. I got a code with the Dragonfly DAC I purchased for a 60 day trial.
Do I sign up for the 14 day trial and then extend it using the code that came with the Dragonfly or do I just use the Dragonfly code and skip the 14 day trial?
Thanks … Tim
use the 60 day code…plenty of time…
Larry,
Thanks … that seemed the obvious choice but if I could get an extra two weeks to get up to speed it couldn’t hurt.

If you set up a simple system and get it working then progress from there you will get the most out of your demo licence time, trying everything at once is often the cause of issues.
Ensure your music is ripped and on a suitable disk before you start the trial.
Ratbert,
Thanks … I have everything I own ripped to FLAC and stored on a drive on the system I plan to run the Roon Core on and I have a RoPieee endpoint with a Dragonfly Black setup waiting on the Core. I plan to get comfortable playing my music and then sign up for a Tidal trial and learn how that works with Roon.
Tim
Good plan, hope you enjoy Roon, I certainly do.
