Regarding HQ Player: you are not in trial mode, I assume? During trial HQ Player will only work for 30 minutes, after which you’ll have to restart you SonicTransporter.

Also, I assume you use HQ Player to upsample. Have you checked your system status, to see if your SonicTransporter can actually deal with your settings?

No i am not in trial mode. and yes it is up sampling. the SonicTransporter can handle the upsampling.

Hi @frederick_lee,

Thanks for writing in! Could you please reproduce the issue and share the specific date, time and name of the track playing when the issue occurs?

Once you let me know this info, I’ll go ahead and enable diagnostics for your account so I can review the logging for clues.

If you’d rather do it yourself manually, please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader.

Thanks!

I was playing Pink Floyd Dark side of the moon, track was us and them, around 1;45-2 pm central time.

Thanks for letting me know @frederick_lee!

To confirm, does the stoppage typically occur when you bring your iPad awake from being idle?

Let’s refresh your RAATServer database and see if your issue persists.

You can generate a new RAATServer instance on your device by following these instructions, but please be aware that this will reset your Roon Settings → Audio Tab to factory settings and I would advise making a backup of any custom DSP settings you have:

  • Create a Backup of your current Roon database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “RAATServer”
  • Rename the “RAATServer” folder to “RAATServer_old”
  • Restart the Roon App to generate a new RAATServer folder

Thanks!
