Frequent track skipping in shuffled playlist with Tidal and local tracks (ref#FOYDBF)

· The System Output has *no problem*, it's only my other Zone.

· RoonReady

Does the device show up at all in Roon Settings -> Audio?

· No, it does not show up there

Does the device play audio from another source when using the same connection?

· The device has no problems with another audio source

Have you checked that Roon is whitelisted in any firewalls?

· I've checked the firewall and the issue remains

If the device has multiple output options, do the other options work as expected?

· Only one output type is affected while the other output type works as expected

Is the device using the latest firmware as per the manufacturer?

· Firmware is up-to-date but the issue remains

Do you have an approximate timestamp of when the issue last occurred?

· Noticed May 30, 2025 or around then? My computer, ethernet, and speakers were all unplugged and re-plugged around then. Ethernet and wifi otherwise working normally in my apartment.

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

· Devialet Phantoms (regular/silver), 1st and 2nd gen

Describe the issue

When I shuffle a playlist including both Tidal and local tracks, Roon is stopping very frequently, and jumping to the next track. Local and Tidal tracks both appear affected (hard to tell) because the jump-aheads are so frequent. The VPN is off and I have taken all other steps I can think of, including restarting Roon, trashing the cache, re-associating TIDAL, etc. My Mac is my Roon Server.

Describe your network setup

Sonic internet. Ethernet-tethered to iMac (Roon Server). Wifi router with wifi network connecting three Devialet Phantoms (2 paired in Living Room, 1 in Bedroom). ExpressVPN *but* turned off.

However, before I enable this feature, I’d like to ask for your help ensuring we gather the right information.

First, can you please reproduce the issue once more and note the time at which the error occurs. Then respond here with that time, and I’ll make sure we review the diagnostics related to that timestamp.
