I used this compact integrated C7R happily with digital sources on my 2-channel setup, and occasionally with headphones (MrSpeakers Alpha Primes, mainly) until I upgraded to my a much more expensive Hegel H360 integrated + Yggdrasil DAC combo with bigger speakers (KEF Reference 1s) for a bigger room. It drives KEF LS50s especially well because of its high damping factor. Good reviews all round. Best with S/PDIF digital sources.
