Bought by me recently as an upgrade to my matrix DAC, which in fairness this was. Clearly a hugely capable DAC, with texture, dimensionality and sheer communicativeness (if thats even a word).
Built like a small tank with a weight you’d hardly believe from such a slender box. Gorgeous connections on the rear and a nice clear display.
Roon integration is faultless and the remote transport controls can control roon also. Volume comms can also be passed back and forth.
I have decided to combine my amp and DAC into one box though and pick up a newer Hegel, hence the sale.
Unit is in good condition with only light polishing marks to the piano black wooden top. These would no doubt polish out if you knew what you were doing! Otherwise casework is unblemished.
