After the update the recommended albums and tracks in the Tidal browser seem very generic. I listen mostly to jazz (I'd say 80% of my library). Attached are screenshots of my recommendations in the Tidal app (relevant) and in the Roon app after the latest update (generic).
I updated both my server and remote apps, and restarted everything several times with no effect.
Strangely it was kind of working when I was on the early access release - Suggested new albums was almost (although not exactly) the same as what was in Tidal
Thanks for reporting this — you’re not the only one noticing it.
As part of the Roon 2.58 update, we completely refreshed the TIDAL browser (new carousels, removal of stale ones, and fixes for sections that stopped updating). Because of this, the recommendations rely on updated metadata and backend services, which are still rolling out.
At the moment, recommendations may appear more generic than usual, but this is temporary. As metadata propagation completes, the TIDAL recommendations in Roon should gradually become more personalized and relevant again, similar to what you’re used to seeing.
No action is needed on your side — just a bit of time for everything to settle.
