Get error message "Couldn't load XPCOM"

I logged out of roon and trying to restart put get the above message box

Is this in the login window or when trying to open it? Do you use Firefox as the default browser?

Trying to re-install but i get the message that it is running somewhere but I do not see it open on my PC

Roon uses the default web browser to enable single-sign on. The XPCOM message seems to be exclusively a Firefox message. Could be caused by all kinds of things in Firefox, apparently:

You could try setting a different default browser (allow cookies and turn off content blockers), this should hopefully then let you log in

Reinstalling Roon won’t help here.

The message you get occurs because the Roon Server is an independent process that runs in the background without a window. You would have to stop it before you can uninstall. There is a Roon Server icon in the notification area in the Windows task bar, bottom right of the screen. Right-click it to open its menu, then you can stop it.

Changed browsers and I got past that screen.
I am try to hook up an Antipodes EX streamer. It is also a Roon core.
How do I know which core is running the pc or Antipodes?

If you go to the Roon Settings > General, it should show you which server it is connected to. You can also disconnect there, and choose a different server.
