Getting Roon status for voltage trigger

Hey all,

I have a Raspberry Pi 3 set up with an IQAudio DAC. I used the pre-built sd card images from IQAudio (latest version).

I’m really happy with the results, but I’d like to be able to provide a voltage trigger to turn on my amplifier. 5V is sufficient, so all I need to do is use GPIO and set the pin high when music is playing. Is there any way to access the status of Roon Bridge in a script, and turn on the amp when music is playing? Or is there a better way to do this? It seems like this could be something that would be useful to others, so is there a way to build a trigger into the standard raspberry pi roon distribution?

Thanks for any help,

-Jamey.

I’d like something to do this too

Maybe with the MUTE GPIO pin 22?

Did we ever figure this out? I’m running Roon Bridge on Ubuntu 22.04 on a MeLE QuietPC, and I’d like to have a trigger output for the power amp.
