How do I get ROON to find my stored music in my Innuos hard drive?

Thank you for your patience while we worked through the queue. In settings under Storage, you can set folders for Roon to watch by clicking Add Folder.

Your Innuos is acting like a NAS to share its music files over the network to Roon. So have a read of this Help article to see how you add shared files from a NAS in Roon:

I got as far as the network share and substituted Innuos for Nas but it didn’t locate. Any help with this? Cheers.
What does your Innous manual say about sharing over the network?
And a screenshot of your Roon’s “Add network share” screen would be useful…
Contact Innuos’s or read their online manual I am sure they can explain how to use Roon with their product.

Well, you click the “+ Add network share” of course…

Cheers for that. the next step is how do I transfer the music file to Roon? Its that I am not
well up on computer files. Thanks for your patience.
Why do you want to transfer the music files to Roon? If you’ve setup a Roon Watched Folder to access the music files on the Innuos, that’s all you need to do.
Cheers. The music is transferring over now. I don’t know exactly what I have done! and how do you set up a watched folder?
Er - you’ve just done it by adding the network share of your Innous in Roon’s Settings > Storage screen.

So I have done it right? its under the heading file copying for import.

All my music files were transferred successfully. I then ripped a cd on Innuos but it didn’t
transfer to Roon.
