How many members does Roon have?
I am just wondering because Roon excists for sure a decade how many members Roon has.
Roon doesn’t publish it’s subscriber numbers as far as I know.

i am just wondering thats all. And since i have a yearly annual subscription and i am pretty sure for 10 years if Roon can give members that have been so long with Roon if they can give some more credit in lets say less payment in the annual. Just a thought, can annual members have discount after a certain time for a lifetime subscibtion.
If you consider lifetime, the discount is larger if you buy it earlier, because you don’t add annual payments on top.
Don’t expect any discounts for lifetime in the future, and it’s more likely that lifetime becomes more expensive or is not offered.

Suedkiez you are a moderator on Roon. It’s a shame that us members cant cum up with ideas to make life more fun. Life as it is becomes more expensive in the future anyway.

You can, and you can post them in Feedback or Feedback > Feature Suggestions, where they will be seen by Roon Labs. (This post here is in Uncategorized where it will not be seen much). But other users are allowed to add their views to your posts.
It’s just that this and similars questions/suggestions have been asked/suggested many times, Roon Labs posted here on the forum that they don’t really like lifetime to exist, and would prefer the steady income stream from subscriptions, and that the option may be discontinued at any time, possibly without warning. They also raised the lifetime price in the past and then people complained because they had not chosen lifetime before the raise.
I just have your best interests in mind. If you want to minimize the licensing cost, don’t hope for lifetime to become cheaper for you, ever. If you believe that Roon will exist longer than it takes you to recover the lifetime price, the cheapest way is to buy it now rather than spending a year on annual and then buying lifetime anyway.

Its been threatened a few times after all lifetime after a while adds nothing to the business finances . annual is the financial lifeblood

there has been veiled hints around 250-300k but that was a fair while ago but as you say no official numbers . IT would give competitors an insight into their finances. JRiver keeps quiet as well for the same reasons
