Got my Rock up!

So I got my Rock set up last night, from boxed barebones NUC to fully running Rock in about an hour. Very straight forward, and good instructions on codecs when you need them.

The only thing that flumoxed me was how to get my Rock to look at my library. Obviously, it’s easy, you just start the controller, but for some reason I expected to do it in the Rock setup. Might be worth a note on that as there are other notes on how to add content etc.

Anyway, working well so far!

I have been running ROCK for several months now on a NUC i7 and have been very pleased with performance; very stable and fast. As for pointing to your library, as you have discovered by now, it is done within the Roon software under Settings. Have fun!

I have also been runing ROCK on a NUC 7i5 a couple of months. Only problem during setup was that after I updated BIOS my screen an old tv I used for doing the setup was not recogniced but a newer one did the trick.

But after that it has been working flawless and I run a SOtM sMS-200ultra as endpoint.
