When playing grouped airplay music with kef lsx1 and an old gen airport express music wont start or just cuts out. When I select airplay compatibility or a combination if this, it’s out either out of sync /or the airport express says it’s playing there is no sound

@Joe_Varley, are both the LSX and AE added to your Apple Home app? Roon seems more stable when AirPlay devices are assigned to the Home app. Otherwise, is this a new situation with synchronizing between AirPlay endpoints, or has this been occurring for awhile? If it is recent, has there been any change to your network?
Hello thank you for this - couldn’t find any KEF devices listed in apple home app - but reset router again and turned on compatibility mode for all airplay speakers and seemed to work again. Thank you
