I LOVE being able to control the volume of my Roon Ready network players via Roon remotes like my iPhone and laptop. I’ve had great experiences with Roon ROCK feeding my PS Audio Directstream Junior or DEQX PreMate+. Is this only possible when using a “Roon Ready network player” as an endpoint? Let’s say I used an Innuos Zenith music server as my Roon endpoint which fed bits to my DEQX PreMate+? Would I still be able to control volume in my Roon Remote?
Innuos promptly answered my question thusly:
“Yes, you will still have adjustable volume control on your Roon Control app when using the Innuos as a Roon Core or endpoint.”
