<I have been trying for months to get ARC up and running on iphones, android and windows. Roon will not automatically set up the Orbi Router even though UnPN is activated. I manually port forward port 55002 to the synology server and open the firewall on the synology to the same port.

Are these rules created on the Orbi or on the Intertek router? You have to forward the port on the Intertek as well (or set it to bridge mode) because this is where the internet traffic enters and exits

@Steven_Sehr, according to some web postings from Metronet, they are utilizing Carrier Grade NAT (CG-NAT) to conserve their IPv4 addresses (this is from the Metronet Business posting, but should apply to the Residential markets also):

Presently, Roon ARC is not compatible with networks using CG NAT. If possible, see if you can obtain a static IP address from Metronet, which can resolve the issue you are seeing with ARC.
