HDMI output not working to Amp

I am running using airplay for connection. I want to use hdmi output to optical convert to Arcam amp. IP address from HDMI is a strange set of numbers. No.signal to Arcam

On the the Setting - Audio display under the “Connected to Core” section do you see HDA Inter HDMI 0 through HDMI 4? Do you have the HDMI zone enabled?

I do not see HDA in the settings. Or any way to enable hdmi

Ok, I see. Curious if HDMI is disabled in the BIOS. Here is a shot of my Audio page with the HDMI 0 - 4 options in the Connected to Core section. I use HDMI 0 and it was renamed to LR Denon NUC/HDMI.

What connection is used for the Sunroom Stereo?

What model Arcam are you using? Is it possible that the unit has an HDMI ARC input instead of an HDMI input?

HDMI ARC does not work like a normal HDMI connection, it’s intended to be used with SmartTVs.
