Help Adding Watched Folder External Drive

Need help.Moved Roon over to A PC from Mac.Have a external drive hooked up to computer with all my music.How do I add into browse can’t find hardrive.Is there something I’m missing ?New to windows ?

Hi Jason,

I understand you’ve followed these steps but Windows isn’t seeing your external hard drive.

How is the external drive connected and formatted ?

If connected by USB then it should just be discovered. If by Ethernet, then you may need to make it an SMB shared folder.

If formatted as FAT32 then Windows will read it. If HFS+ then there are some programs that can help but ideally you would want to backup the files and reformat to FAT32.
