New Core on a NUC which requires manual entry of file path. Share is a usb drive connected to router… Had it working on old core so I managed to get the settings right to enable the share. Confused by file path as I keep getting told it’s incorrect or an unknown error notification. Path I’ve been trying is \ip address of shared drive\name of folder with music Could somebody point out my stupidity please.
Share a screenshot of what your actually entering
Usually, the share is made up of device and share name, e.g., //192.168.0.1/share. The folder name isn’t required until the share is accessible.
Nonetheless, as @ged_hickman1 suggests, a screenshot would be helpful, as would the IP address, make and model of the router.
Thanks everyone, I was using the folder name instead of the drive name. It’s now adding the contents. Cheers, the help is much appreciated.
