I’m working on the next generation of RHEOS, a small project intended to improve the experience of using Roon with HEOS / Denon / Marantz devices .
The goal is not to replace RAAT, but to make this bridge as reliable and polished as possible for devices that do not have native Roon Ready support. In particular, I’m trying to improve areas such as:

Gapless playback

Correct “now playing” and “next track” metadata

Short-track transitions

Live albums and continuous mixes
-
Albums with unusual sequencing or bonus tracks

Track duration handling
-
Grouped playback behavior
-
Cases where Squeeze2UPnP, UPnP, or the endpoint gets confused at track boundaries
I already have a few difficult albums that I use for testing, but I’d like to broaden the test set substantially. Real-world examples from other Roon users would be extremely helpful.
If you have albums that do not behave well with Squeeze2UPnP, I’d be grateful if you could share them here.
Useful details would include:

Whether it is local library, Qobuz, TIDAL, KKBOX, etc.

File type / resolution if local, for example FLAC 16/44.1, FLAC 24/96, PCM, WAV, AIFF, etc.

What endpoint you are using through Squeeze2UPnP

What goes wrong, for example:

gap between tracks

wrong metadata

next track shown too early or too late

My intent is to use these examples to build a broader regression-test library for RHEOS and to identify where the Roon/UPnP handoff can be made more robust. I’m especially interested in albums that expose timing, metadata, or queue-edge cases — the sort of albums that ordinary testing often misses.
