Description Of Issue
How do I install Roon to the server to use as my core?

Do you want to install it on the Mac or the Nas?
The Mac software is here
https://roonlabs.com/downloads
I think you get the Synology SW via the Synology control software, like an add in.

Hi @jeffrey_eden,

Are you wanting to use the Mac Mini as your Core machine or the Synology as your Core machine? First, you’ll want to make sure that whichever machine you use as your Core meets our requirements.

You can read more about how Roon Core machines work and the architecture of Roon in our KB:

If you have any questions just let us know.

Thanks Ged, wanted to install on the NAS, checked on my Synology Packages and they do not have a Roon package

Thanks Dylan, I wanted to use the NAS as I often access it remotely, does not look as though Roon will be my solution

No it’s not an x86 processor so won’t run roon.
“Realtek RTD1296 quad-core”

Thanks for the advice
