I have had the Nucleus Core since 2016 and it has never went down until now .
So far it has happen twice . the first time was on April 20 it Displayed this message
( Are You Online ?)( YOUR ACCOUNT NEEDS TO BE QUICKLY CONFIRMED, THEN YOU;LL BE ALL SET.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR INTERNET CONNECTIONS AND TRY AGAIN.) that was due to a problem on version end. the problem was the connection coming to my my home it knocked out the internet completely in my home.The second time my Core lost connection was on May 1 and it has been down since. I that was version again, I connected Version to see if it was a problem on thee end but they checked the connection and said everything was good as far as then could see. So I tried rebooting the Nucleus Core today By powering down the system for a few min and the powering it back up then a I got the message ( Remote Connection Waiting for remote Core )( Roon is still trying to connect, but it’s taking longer than normal. Check that you Roon Core is on and connected . You may also want to confirm your setting and firewall.) I don’t believe I have a firewall since this has never happened before and there has not been any changes since it was installed.
Network/ CORE
My system was install by a AV company .The Nucleus core is run-ing Firmware 1.0 ( build 186)
/version 1.7 ( build 528) stable.
The Core is hard wired to a Network switch that has all of my computer’s printer, and access point connected to it .The switch is managed commercial grade switch . I have 9 Sonos connects that are attached to the switch. They are connected to different speaker and play-bars around my home. The Sonos mesh network on all of the connect have been disabled . So it does not cause a problem.
The switch has not been access since 2017.
Computer :
The computer I’m using is Late 2017 MacBook 16-inch Pro Custom. The MacBook was built with everything Pushed to the max. Processor is a 2.6 Ghz 6-core Intel Core i7 , with a 1TB SSD drive and 16 GB of 266 ram . It is running the lates OS on it.
NAS;
All my music is stored on a WD Pr2100 NAS drive. the drives is has two bays , and is configured as rate 0 so one drive is being mirroring the other drive , the drive size it 16TB and it current hold 75000 files .
