Description of Issue

I have a few albums in my local library with tracks that I’ve hidden.

  • When viewing these albums in the Roon app on my Mac (MacBook Pro M2, macOS 13.3.1) I don’t see the hidden tracks, as expected.
  • When playing these albums, or adding them to the queue, in the Roon app on my Mac (MacBook Pro M2, macOS 13.3.1) the hidden tracks are skipped, as expected.
  • When viewing these albums in the Roon ARC app on my iPhone (iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16.4.1) I don’t see the hidden tracks, as expected.
  • When playing these albums, or adding them to the queue, in the Roon ARC app on my iPhone (iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16.4.1) all tracks, including the hidden ones, are added to the queue and played.

I believe this is a bug as the behavior is inconsistent and unexpected (based on the intuitive behavior present in the main app).

Here’s an example. There are only 3x tracks on this greatest hits album that I don’t already have in my library (on studio albums). So I hid the rest. When I play this album on my Mac, only the 3x visible tracks are queued. In the Roon ARC app on my iPhone, all tracks, including the hidden ones, are queued.
