· I purchased a nucleus one and after set up it says that the HiFi Rose 151 is uncertified, so wouldn’t connect. I had been previously using the Roon server on both my laptop pc and my wife’s macbook with no issues?
Tell us about your home network
· No vpn, HiFi rose 151 connected via wifi. The laptops were also wifi, but nucleus one is wired directly to router.
Your RS151 has been connecting and playing normally since shortly after you set the Nucleus One up, so whatever you saw during setup appears to have cleared on its own.
Could you please confirm whether it is still showing as uncertified for you, or whether it is working now?
If it is still there, please tell us and we will keep digging. If it sorted itself out, that is worth knowing too, and we will close this off.
To clarify, we’ve gathered remote diagnostic logs from the Nucleus One associated with your account. These logs were enabled automatically upon receipt of your support request here.
Logs showed a successful device announcement and pairing process between a HiFi Rose 151 and Nucleus One via Roon Ready.
However, as of this writing, server diagnostics indicate you might have an unrelated problem with your networked storage, or conditions that might trigger a problem down the road. RoonServer is listing hundreds of network storage locations, including one for what appears to be each artist folder in your local storage. Is it your intention to enumerate Watched Folders separately by artist? You’ll find indexing and startup to be faster and more reliably if you simply point Roon to the folder hosting the entire library, and allow it to scan and index by artist or album folder automatically.

We’re happy to talk through best practices for storage or work through any issues you might be having. Thank you!
