Earlier in the year, there was a flood of AI slop releases that appeared on streaming services (including Qobuz and Tidal) with artist name “Hiromi” that were obviously not from the Japanese jazz pianist Hiromi Uehara. https://www.reddit.com/r/TIdaL/comments/1q8ixhr/ai_slop_using_pianist_hiromi/
Those releases appear have since been removed from Qobuz but still on Tidal, and the albums in the OP post appear to be a new cycle of releases.
It is not just Hiromi but also happening to other artists such as Joe Pass. https://community.roonlabs.com/t/fake-ai-slop-infesting-tidal/313622
I hate to be pessimistic but I think it will be a continuing problem as AI tools keep advancing and make it even easier and faster to create slop.
Is there a way to change the grouping in Roon or does roon team consider this only an upstream issue with Qobuz? If it is a Qobuz issue, has the roon team discussed metadata management with qobuz?
