Hello, been using Roon for 10 years. Previously when I would browse my history click something then click back. I would be at the same position in my history as when I left. Now no matter what it resets to top is there any fix for this? Thank you.
Hi @chris_evans,
Thank you for posting here and welcome back to the forums! Just to clarify your steps here:
- Click on History in the Roon menuy
- Scroll upwards to somewhere in the list of previously played tracks
- Navigate to any other page in Roon
And then hitting “back,” you find yourself stuck at the very bottom of the History page again? On other words, the browser doesn’t cache the History page as expected?
There was an old regression in this area in which RoonServer would treat a single remote as two separate remotes, improperly caching page positions. We fixed this issue some tie ago - we can activate diagnostics and verify what’s occurring in the UI here.
Please specify the make/model of computer or phone you’re using as a Roon Remote when this occurs. Thanks!
Thank you, much appreciated. I would like it to stay where I was viewing, It always returns to the top. Using Roon on windows 11.
Hi @chris_evans,
Thanks for clarifying the reproduction steps. I was able to see the same behavior on my server. We’ll need to ask our product team if this is the intended behavior or not. Once we hear back from them we’ll let you know. If this does turn out to be a deliberate design decision then you can submit a Feature Suggestions to ask for that to be changed.
