· When I go to Home, Recent Activity, Added. It shows a day or two of recently added albums but then it starts listing stuff I added months or years ago and not the most recently added stuff. This is a recent issue. Up until now Home, Recent Activity, Added always showed recently added albums in the chronological order they were added. Now it mainly shows albums I added long ago.
If I look at my recent activity played, I see a gap in my recently played albums and tracks, compared to what is shown in the History, too. It looks like some previous Roon version did not update the “recent” sections maybe? The most recent plays do appear (again?). If other users read this, please compare your recent sections on the homepage with your History too to find out if this is a pattern or if we are just outliers / single occurrences.
Note: This also affects the statistic sections (Recent listening, What you’ve been listening too, Your recent Artists). The same stuff is missing there too.
PS: All local content (and maybe internet radio plays, can’t tell for sure as those are not listed in the History). No streaming services active in my Roon installation. I also had no albums added during that time period so can’t comment on that aspect.

What do you mean by “before the issue occurs”? The gap in Recent Activity Played, compared to the History, doesn’t happen, it just is. Are you simply asking for the latest update?
As we’ve noted in Henry’s report, this issue—where older library additions suddenly reappear at the top of the “Date Added” list with new timestamps—is a known behavior we are currently tracking.
While the situations appear similar, there are some differences in your description, so it is important for us to clarify: are you experiencing the same issue where old albums suddenly get a new “date added” or is the behavior different in your case?
If it is different, we recommend creating a separate thread describing your issue.
Sorry then but of my description it seems not to be the same issue (I don’t have an active streaming subscription). As Roon’s newest production release is now correctly adding to Recent Activity Played again, I think my issue doesn’t need tracking and just leaves the gap in the statistics (the history has the data if I need to lookup something).
