Roon seems to add the remainder of a playlist to the queue when I pick a song. Is there a way just to play an individual song from a playlist and then finish?
Check out Settings>Play Actions. You can choose what is the default (one-click) action there.

Hit the blue arrow on the far left next to the track. This will play that track immediately, even if there is another track already playing.
