I have both Tidal and Qobuz enabled in roon. How do I selectively add music from either Tidal or Qobuz? I see both icons on titles showing availability in Tidal or Qobuz but when I add to library it always adds from Tidal.

Go to the Roon Settings > General. Scroll down and set the streaming content preference to Qobuz or Tidal, whichever you prefer as the default.

If you go to an album, there is a Versions tab. Go there and it lists all versions. You can add the one you want
Ok, that works but is clumsy af. Be nice if you could just select a source when you add to library (hint roon ui people).
Don’t you want to choose the specific version to add? There are usually multiple Tidal and Qobuz versions. It’s not clumsy at all, its how you do it. I would prefer to add a 24/192 instead of a 16/44.1. Many times there is a version with 12 tracks and one with 46 tracks. I like to choose.
Scenario: select add to library, if there are multiple versions show the list of versions, select version…
Seems that is cleaner than having two different paths to add a item. Via the Versions tab you select a version then add it to library - that’s an extra step clicky wise.
Given the ‘that’s how its done’ vibe I get where you are coming from. I am a cranky old software dev… Thanks for the info.
In this scenario you are already looking at a specific version and are adding that
Same amount of clicks. There is an add to library link under each listed version in the versions tab.
Your proposal:
Click add to library. Click on version.
Currently:
Click on versions. Click add to library link under specific version.
