I’d love to use Tailscale because Port Forwarding is a royal PITA as it is not intuitively obvious how to configure and enable Port Forwarding all routers. I use my phone as a Mobile Hotspot and just can’t get ARC to work unless I’m directly connected to my home router.
The A&K manual says that they have an Open App system for apps that they haven’t approved. This may help:
but the Open App system may be geared to music apps and I don’t know how much A&K changed Android and whether a network app like Tailscale will work.
