Description of Issue

Hi,
Am a first time user for Roon and have setul my Nucleua yesterday. Was able to get it up & running, and installed Roon Remote on my iPhone and iPad. I tried to also install it on my wife’s iPhone but it seems that it is not straight forward to use devices from more than 1 user.
Whenever I log in to her device, it logs me out of mine. It was my understanding/expectation that the license I subscribed for is assign to the Nucleus device and that it will be possible to control from multiple mobile devices.
Any help or clarification on this is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

You can run the remote on as many devices as you like all at the same time. You only login once when setting up Roon for the first time, after this remotes should just automatically see your Nucleus Roon core and first time it’s run your asked to connect there is no login to do at all for any user after initial setup. So not exactly sure what you are doing to accomplish this.

You can set up user profiles in Roon and each user can switch their remote to their profile. They all will see the the same content and have access to any streaming services you tied to Roon. This tracks play history and tags per user profile. Streaming services is one accout for Roon you cannot use family accounts these are not supported for server based systems like Roon. If this is what you’re trying to do you can’t as it is one account that everyone uses. Same for any 3rd party system that uses a central library Tidals or Qobuz Api does not allow it.

Thank you for your quick answer, will try again this evening when I am back at home.
If I remember correctly, I was getting a login prompt when starting roon remote so I went ahead and tried to login .
We do have a quboz duo account but this is more for mobile use, we would be fine with using just one of them with roon.

Just to make sure are you using Roon Remote app and not Roon ARC? If it’s the normal remote app and it’s asking for login then it looks like your Nuclues has not been configured properly to start with to be linked to your Roon account. This is done at the very start of connecting Roon remote to the core. Once that’s done it will never ask again unless you’re logging out the account via the app which should not be done unless removing the account completely.

Thanks again for your help, tried today as suggested (w/o logging in on the remote app) and everything just work!
