How do I enable SSH in Ropieee to access tools for Piano DAC? Thanks

I believe it’s activated by default. Just ssh -l root <ip address> to your Pi. Password is root.

I tried to connect through putty and I didnt get a command line, just blank. Not the most versed at this but I know I had correct IP address and the Pi is connected to Wi-Fi. Shouldn’t I at least get a prompt to start? Thanks

Yes.

But, RoPieee isn’t the right OS if you are intending to use it other than how it is designed (black box Roon endpoint). SSH is really only for diagnostic purposes as a courtesy. You may be better off using DietPi if you need a “normal” distro?

ALSA tools to set Piano to 2.1 output and set frequency for sub output. With Ropieee, it set both outputs to stereo out. Supposedly there is an app from Allo to do this too but no idea how to access that. Thanks
