How to erase a server device in the audio settings?

Hi everybody,

I changed my settings, I now use a direct connection to a Roon Ready Nadac from my computer instead of the previous one using the Merging Ravenna/AES67 system (to a Merging Hapi).

Is it possible to erase this core (Ravenna/AES67) in the Roon application settings, because I don’t need it anymore?

Hi @KDM,

Can you please share a screenshot of your Audio Settings page that demonstrates the issue?

If you perform a RAATServer refresh, you can “factory reset” the Audio Settings page and then reconstruct the current Zones. This will, however, delete any custom DSP profiles in MUSE, so proceed at your own risk.

  • Create a Backup of your current Roon database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “RAATServer”
  • Rename the “RAATServer” folder to “RAATServer_old”
  • Restart the Roon App to generate a new RAATServer folder

Restoring the Backp will bring back the original RAATServer instance with the Ravenna Zone.

Thanks Connor. It is not really an issue. I just was curious about that situation. I sometimes have power cuts at home and I would like to avoid interference between useful and useless folders when I restart.

Thanks again for your advices.
Have a nice and musical day.

Hi @KDM,

Yes, this is expected behavior - the only workaround would be above. Thanks!
