Is there any way to find the tracks in my queue that have been played before?
I’ve tried creating a playlist from the queue. The playlist has a played count and a last played field, but these do not reflect the number of plays in the album list. For example, one track in the playlist I created from the queue says there are 0 plays, but if I look at the track in the album, it says it has been played 3 times already.
That example can be tricky because a track from a streaming service can exist both in and out of your library. It could be possible that you are looking at those two different instances and seeing a play count difference.
In the latest example I’m looking at, the track is not in my library. When I navigate to the album from the Now Playing screen, the track that’s playing has the moving soundbars icon next to the track, which makes me think it is the same track in both places.
Your History (left menu) will give full overview what you have played.
Does that no5 help?
It doesn’t help me.
I normally just queue new tracks to listen to, without adding them to a playlist or anything. I have a long queue (over 5 days) at the moment, that I listen to every day and continue to add to.
The bug in the previous version scrambled my queue and moved tracks that I’ve listened to into the “future” tracks, so I am listening to them again. I would like to identify the tracks in my queue that I have already listened to once, so I can remove them. I’d like the queue to only have tracks that I’ve never listened to.
I can’t figure out how to do that easily. Sure, I could go through my queue one track at a time and figure this out, but my queue has 4700+ tracks, so this is infeasible.
I just don’t understand why the played count in the queue does not reflect the number of times I’ve ever played the track.
