How to find Various Artists discs

I must be missing something very basic. I can’t believe I’ve been using Roon for 6 years and never discovered this blind spot, or perhaps something changed because at one point I recall being able to do it.

How do I sort albums so that I can just view the Various Artists discs? Focus provides for “compilations” but that also includes “best of” collections and doesn’t by any means pick up all V/A discs.

The Album view sorts by artist, but not by album artist. And instead of putting all the V/A discs in one area (at top or bottom or under “V”) it seems to use the album title for V/A discs when sorting by artist title. That’s very strange.

I can’t find a disc I know I have because I can’t generate a list of V/A discs. I guess I’ll have to use the file browser. Oh wait…

Filter (funnel symbol) for Various Artists in Album browser, save it as bookmark if you need it often.

I use various artists as the album artist in all compilation albums (non artist specific ones). The I can focus or filter easily If your album Artist field isn’t populated not sure.

But it has this section in general settings.

That is Roon’s default behaviour you can change it though:
