I can select a focus on Classical/Chamber music but that is too broad as it includes works from very different periods. I can also focus Compositions on Baroque and Classical periods, but then unable to focus on Chamber works.
Seems that it should be straight forward to play Chamber music from the Baroque and Classical periods.
I’d be most grateful for some guidance.
You have both the Forms and Period criteria available to you in the Composition browser. However, if there are no compositions in your library that are marked as “Chamber works”, then it won’t appear in the Forms list in Focus.
What does your Forms list show? My library contains items such as:
You can always use the Composition editor to add the “Chamber works” to the Form entry in Compositions if you wish. Unfortunately, Roon has the limitation that editing only works for individual compositions - it is not possible to apply a form to multiple compositions at once. (a limitation that has, I think, been pointed out to Roon Labs long ago, but which has not been addressed)
