I did get a laugh out of it although I would have liked it better if he hadn’t been scatting along to the music. Thank goodness I wasn’t in a jazz club with him sitting near me.

By the way try listening to a “clean” version of the song, i.e. one without the overdub, and focus on the Joe Henderson solo - I always think of Henderson’s solos as snakes or serpents first wrapping themselves around the cords and melody and then uncoiling. However I don’t have a YouTube video. Give a listen to this great Joe Henderson album for a great example of the coiling effect:
