How to transfer a large database from one mac to another

I’m trying to transfer a large database from one mac to another. I have LOTS of metadata corrections so I want to make sure I do this right so everything makes it to the new machine. Is the procedure for doing this somewhere on the forum already…couldn’t find it…just lots of descriptions of clean installs.

I am trying to find the definitive guide to moving my roon server license and database to a new machine. A search of the forums brought me to Carl’s Feb 16 link. However, while logged on I still receive this “Sorry, you don’t have access to that topic!”.

Please advise why I am seeing this, and if there IS an official guide to moving both the license and DB.
