Describe the issue

Have trial Roon on older PC. Not effective. Bought new, better PC. How to uninstall from old and transfer to new? Need to determine if new PC is more stable.

If you want to save anything (like play counts, metadata edits made in Roon, playlists from Roon) from your old Roon database, follow these steps:

If you don’t care and just want to start fresh:

  1. On the old machine, go to Roon > Settings > General and click Disconnect (top right). This will remove your license from the old machine. (You can also do this at any later time on the new machine, but it may be easier to do it right there on the old machine).
  2. Install Roon on the new machine.
  3. Start Roon and log in, just like you did previously on the old machine.
