I’d like to set up a filter that works from 20 to 20000 hz: at 20 hz output adjustment would be nothing, zero changes; but then output volume gradually-evenly sloping to -10db at 20000hz.
Can’t figure out a way to do this. Is it possible to define a filter with those characteristics?
I don’t think that there’s a simple way to do this without using a convolution filter (you could use software such as REW to create such a filter).
It’s possible to get fairly close by using 2 high shelf filters in Parametric EQ (screenshot below) with the Q value set as low as possible (it won’t do below 0.10) . You could probably get closer by using more filters and adjusting the gain / frequency of each.
