Hi Prem,
You’ll find this KB page helpful on setting up within Roon and the HQ Player Kick Start Guide helpful to Settings in HQ Player.
I found this Installation Guide for HQ Player Linux but haven’t tested it personally. The guide is principally directed to HQ Player embedded, but desktop installation is set out in Appendix 2.
Hello @Prem_Balakrishnan,
@andybob definitely has some great suggestions here. Can you please let us know which version of Linux you’re running on your NUC? Have you installed Ubuntu 18.04 or Ubuntu Studio? If so then you can find a copy of HQPlayer on their website here and follow the KB page regarding instructions on how to configure it. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Noris
Hi Noris/Andy
Thanks for the quick response .
I didn’t install the OS separately, I install the roon ROCK so it is the one comes with roon.
Regards
Prem
Hello @Prem_Balakrishnan,
At this time, HQPlayer cannot be installed on a ROCK-based Core setup. HQ Player will need to run on a different machine if your Core is running ROCK.
Thanks,
Noris
