4.5.0 is the last version of HQPlayer that works for me with Roon. Every subsequent version up to 4.5.4 suffers drop-outs…plays for 3 seconds, drops out for 1 second, plays for 3 seconds etc.
No settings have been changed.
I go back to 4.5.0 and all is well.
What has changed?

Looks fine, but you may want to try -2s variants of the same filter for SDM output.
Re-installed 4.15.4 and changed to -2s variant. Still getting the same drop-outs.
4.15.0 works fine with or without -2s variants.
OK, not sure what could be the reason. It is working fine for me on i9-9900K based 27" iMac.
I’m also using i9-9900K.
What changed after 4.15.0 that might be causing the problem?
There was one build mistake in macOS x64 version. Fixed now, please re-download and re-install.
That seems to have fixed it. Running 4.15.4 with no problems.
