HQPlayer no sound

I just installed the trial version of HQPlayer. It works perfect with Roon…but im having a problem whenever i try to play a game n listen to music at the same time…i hear no sound from the game. Also, whenver i have HQPlayer open n i try to watch videos on youtube,twitch etc etc it throws me this audio renderer problem. I know it has to do with HQPlayer because once i close it down everything goes back to normal. Can anyone help?

I’m using normal pc speakers (no dac)

This is exactly on purpose. HQPlayer bypasses OS’s sample rate conversion and mixer for sound quality reasons. And for example Windows offers official means to do this, called Exclusive mode.

If you want mixing and use normal PC speakers, there’s no reason to use HQPlayer in first place.
