I cannot open my core after installing 1.8

Description Of Issue

downloaded 1.8 on my core PC installed it and now I can no longer open my core on my iPhone
Roon app on iPhone just says looking for your Roon Core

on PC, I cannot even tell if the Core is running. How do I know?

Do you have the full Roon package installed on the PC (Core, Control and Output)?

You should always have access to Roon on a PC with remote also running on that PC.

sorry to be so dumb, but how can I tell?

I can see the UI, so I guess that is the control, right?

All I did was uninstall 1.6 and run the 1.8 installer, which asked 0 questions about what I wanted, so does it install the full package by default?


Sorry to be a pain, but I am a paying subscriber and my system is down. How do I get support – it’s been two days, and I am no further along.

Have I missed a step to flag Roon Support?

If you use Roon directly on the PC (not RoonServer but the all in one with UI) does it work okay?
