I can't log into my Roon App[Solved,Broken DB]

I have a new 2016 Macbook running OS Sierra. I copied my files over from a 2012 Mac Mini (on which the Roon app worked well). Now, I cannot log in – when I do, the “Logging in . . .” dialogue comes up and stays up. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks very much.
