My first post here was stating I was afraid to commit so much money to Roon having had a bad experience in the past.
I then thought I ought at least take out a years sub.
I am so glad I did. I didn’t really understand it and whilst I still don’t, I do un derstand how it offers up new music it thinks you will like. Both my husband and I have discovered new music which we have consequently bought or added to library.
It turns out despite my silly comment about listening not reading, I do read all the bumf about the artist and/or recording.
However, I am still frustrated with issues I have. They remain the same:
Several copies of one album even tho my library shows only one copy in the folder.
Refusal to play certain pairs of tracks even tho all of my other music prgrams play them without a problem which suggests the file is not corrupt.
I did have an issue with connecting to external SSD for my library but Wizardofoz gave me the solution to that and the problem was solved instantly.
I am now in the process of making the external disc my library.
